I honestly don’t even know where to begin. The short of it, I was a covid bride and despite not being able to have all the people my husband and I wanted, in the end it didn’t matter. The staff made the wedding so wonderful that we forgot it was only 50 people. Let me also say that my husband and I paid almost the whole wedding for 170 plus people up front. Unfortunately, only being able to have 50 people due to covid, we were left with a large deficit with what we had already paid out. We were so nervous about being out money due to paying up front, the contract we signed for 170 people, and the horror stories from other couples saying their venues were essentially holding money ransom . However, the Woodside Club without hesitation, gave us our money back for the difference without a fight. Very few venues do right by people that way, and needless to say we were blown away by their customer service. Sarah, the wedding coordinator there is also so patient, kind and informative, she is truly amazing to work with. Now let me get to the grounds; it is truly Long Island at its finest. Gorgeous grounds, amazing front entry with a storybook staircase, and a ballroom that is a show stopper to say the least. They made my entire day and experience absolutely wonderful, and I still have guests talking about the food. This place is an undiscovered gem and I’m so happy we picked them for our wedding day. They treated us like royalty, and I could not say one negative thing about this venue or their services.
