Hi, I’m Megan! I run this one woman show living a double life lol. Part of the time I’m in my Deer Park, NY studio where a majority of my clients are getting prepped for a wedding or event. The other half I’m traveling to NYC or The Hamptons doing house calls for celebrities and other high profile clients. My spray tans have been on the New York Fashion Week Runway, The Met Gala, Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, Sports Illustrated, and most recently on the cover of (last print issue) of Brides Magazine.
It doesn’t matter who you are, your tan is important to me and should be perfect.
The Wedding Industry
It’s not “just” a spray tan! How amazing do you feel with a little color?! We all do! I love being able to provide that confidence boost in my brides and their guests.
The Wedding Memories
A bride literally skipping out of her appointment feeling like a bronzed goddess! That’s the best moment!
After 10 years in the industry, I’ve perfected the natural spray tan..No really that IS possible..seamless lines, and flawless color that is catered to your skin tone is the way to go for your special day. You don’t want to look like you’ve had a spray tan! I always say you want to walk into a room and everyone compliments you on how radiant you look, but they cannot quite pinpoint the change. That’s the goal!
I started Glow in 2014 after being layed off from my 5 year job as a spray tanner/trainer. I was so heart broken! I loved my clients and my job and knew I had found my calling. After allowing myself to get a little depressed I finally decided to put my big girl panties on and make it happen. For an introvert, it was terrifying, but what’s more terrifying is not trying. What’s that quote..if the door doesn’t open, build one? It’s so crazy to see how my little biz continues to grow and doors are opening where I never thought possible.
Frequently Asked Questions
Should I book a trial?
Yes! The trial is for you to get used to tan and color. You may think you want light, but you try on your dress and want to be darker etc. This is so you can adjust accordingly.
When Should I book a trial?
At least 10 days prior. You want the trial tan to fade before the wedding spray tan appointment.
How do I prepare?
A blank canvas is #1: absolutely nothing on your skin (oil, lotion, perfume, makeup). Think of tanning as the last step in your routine! Shaving, bleaching, facials, threading, lashes, waxing, mani/pedi..should all be done prior to getting tanned (ideally at least 24 hrs prior).
When should I book my wedding airbrush tan?
1-3 days prior. I know your schedule gets crazy as it gets closer the the wedding day. I suggest calling and we can figure it out together.
Is your spray tan organic?
Yes and no. I use only the highest quality,
Botanical based products. It is 98% organic (no spray tan is 100%, that’s a myth).
How long does a tan last?
The tan sits on your first layer of skin, this is the one that sheds (boo! It can’t last
Forever ??) . The tan last 5-10 days, depending on how you prepare, how you take care if it, your skin type and other factors (lifestyle, hormones, medication). This is another reason a trial is so important!
I love spending time with my hubby in my free time..We’re basically an old couple so probably relaxing binging something on Netflix? Or I’m forcing him to watch a true crime documentary, or anything on Bravo. Reading books/listening to podcasts on business or psychology, planning bucket list trips, attending a concert and loving/hating Orangetheory.
