Taylor Swift said more than ‘yes’ this holiday weekend – she said ‘I do’ to Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce on July 3 in New York City.
For weeks, there was speculation the pair had rented out Madison Square Garden in New York City for a two-day celebration of their nuptials. Five days before the big day, amid an impending heat wave, tents were spotted outside MSG. Workers unloaded trucks and hauled in large containers labeled with words like ‘trees,’ ‘flowers,’ etc. into the arena. Once her celebrity friends were seen in the Big Apple, it was clear that the rumors were true: Swift and Kelce’s wedding was happening.
On Thursday, July 2, blacked out SUVs arrived for the rumored rehearsal dinner for the pair. And on the big day, celebrities could be seen heading to the star-studded event.
Guests had a strict no-phone policy, but details are slowly coming out about their fairytale love story wedding. A source told People that the famed Garden was decorated to ‘look like a forest,’ with seats surrounded by ferns and trees for their ceremony officiated by Adam Sandler. Robin Roberts, Michael Strahan and George Stephanopoulos revealed on “Good Morning America” that the pair read their own vows from gold books, with each lasting about 20 minutes.
Donna Kelce, Travis’ mother, spoke at the Macy’s 50th Fourth of July Celebration and called the wedding ‘magical.’ Swift’s representative told People that the couple wore looks created by Christian Dior Haute Couture for their wedding ceremony. The rep went on to say “their shoes were custom made by Christian Louboutin and the bride wore Cartier jewelry.”

They chose not to have a bridal party, but Swift’s brother, Austin, was the ‘man of honor,’ while Kelce’s brother, Jason, served as his best man. The reception featured special performances from Paul McCartney and Stevie Nicks, an insider told People.
The celebrity-filled guest list, which was reportedly around 1,000 people, included Selena Gomez and her husband Benson Boone, Miranda Lambert, Hugh Grant, Bradley Cooper and Gigi Hadid, Paul Rudd, Ethan Hawke, Dakota Johnson, Ed Sheeran, Zoe Kravitz, Jimmy Fallon, Reese Witherspoon and Kelsea Ballerini.
The newlyweds got engaged nearly a year ago on August 26, 2025, after dating for two years.
