Introduction

We're Brian and Marissa husband and wife duo who own and operate Alpha Lit Long Island!  We have been in  business a little over two years and love taking each of our events to the next level!   We service Nassau & Suffolk Counties, including the Hamptons! 

Our Lights make an illuminating addition to not only your reception, but they can also bring something extra to every other wedding event you have planned.   From the start of the engagement/proposal (partners...we can make this something everyone talks about ;) ), to the engagement party, to the bridal shower, to the bachelorette party, we can do spell out almost anything you'd like! We love creating that ‘wow’ factor at any one of your special occasions!

What makes us unique is that we can customize any last name!   Perfect for that holiday card you want to send out at the end of the year :) 

We also take pride in our customer service!  Wedding planning is stressful, and we make sure our process is the last thing from stress!   We’re easy to work with, we’re detail oriented, we’re perfectionists. We want to make sure your letters are the showstopper at your event! 

 

 

 

Specialization

We specialize in Marquee Letters!   Not only do we offer options for all things wedding, but we love celebrating birthdays, gender reveals, baby showers, anniversaries, corporate events, and so much more! 

At Alpha Lit, we are best known for our ability to stack the letters as well as our colored bulbs in the letters. Both of these options give our customers that extra chance to truly make their event totally personalized them and their vision.

As a company, I am most proud of our rapid growth and success. Being able to really give the clients what they want and do it with top notch customer service has set us apart from other companies in the area and in the country.

Company History

Alpha-Lit Marquee letters started in 2019 in Dallas, Texas.   Now, there are 140+ locations in the US and Canada!   We all support each other as well as I get inspiration for every type of party!  

All of our letters are made in the USA!

We are a small team.   Us as owners are involved in almost every event.   We do have a small set up crew that you will see on site, however, you will always hear from Marissa or Brian to confirm all details for a smooth and stressful fee process!

HOW IT WORKS?

Step 1:   Browse our Rentals

Explore our letters, numbers, symbols, toppers, and stacking options to make your Marquee Display shine!

Step 2:  Request an Estimate

 It's super fast & easy!  We'll have a quote for you within 24-48 hours **Monday - Friday**!

Step 3:   Book Your Event

Let's Do It!  We'll email your invoice and rental agreement.  A 50% deposit is due to secure your event date and the final payment is due 2 weeks prior to your event.   Everything is done through our online system! 

Step 4:  It's Party Time

On the day of your event, the Alpha Lit Long Island team delivers and installs your marquee display.  We'll provide all the necessary extension cords and equipment for your setup.  When your event is over, our team will come back to breakdown the display at the agreed upon time.

  3. ALPHA-LIT LI IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR INSUFFICIENT, BROKEN OR DAMAGED POWER SOURCES PROVIDED BY YOUR VENUE/BUILDING OR HOME. POWER MUST BE TESTED AND APPROVED PRIOR TO USE

 

WHAT ARE THE DIMENSIONS OF YOUR MARQUEE PRODUCTS? 

  1. OUR LETTERS (A- Z) ARE 3FT TALL X 2FT WIDE* X .5FT DEEP (WIDTH EXCEPTIONS INCLUDE I, M, W)

  2. OUR NUMBERS (0-9) ARE 4FT TALL X 2FT WIDE* X .5FT DEEP (WIDTH EXCEPTIONS INCLUDE 1)

  3. OUR SYMBOLS (! ? + & <3, ETC) ARE ALL 3FT TALL. WIDTH VARIES BUT MOST SYMBOLS ARE BETWEEN 1.5FT - 3FT WIDE.

 

DOES ALPHA-LIT PROVIDE APPROPRIATE EXTENSION CORDS AND EQUIPMENT FOR MY SETUP? 

  1. YES. ALPHA-LIT LI PROVIDES EXTENSION CORDS (UP TO 150 FEET). 

  2. ADDITIONALLY, ALPHA-LIT LI WILL PROVIDE EXTRA BULBS FOR YOUR DISPLAY, GAFF TAPE TO TAPE DOWN EXTENSION CORDS AND A RACK TO DISPLAY LETTERS ON TWO LEVELS* (*IF ORDERED)

 

CAN YOUR MARQUEE PRODUCTS BE OUTSIDE? 

  1. YES, OUR MARQUEE PRODUCTS CAN BE OUTSIDE WITH THE EXCEPTION OF HIGH WIND,
    HEAVY RAIN OR SNOW. 

  2. ALPHA-LIT LI CANNOT CONTROL THE WEATHER. IT’S THE CUSTOMER’S RESPONSIBILITY TO  HAVE AN INDOOR BACK UP PLAN. REFUNDS WILL NOT BE ISSUED FOR ANY CIRCUMSTANCE WEATHER RELATED (INCLUDING HIGH WIND, HEAVY RAIN, SNOW) IF THERE IS NO INDOOR BACKUP PLAN. 

 

CAN LETTERS BE MOVED DURING MY RENTAL? 

  1. LETTERS CANNOT BE MOVED AFTER OUR TEAM HAS SET THEM UP FOR SAFETY PURPOSES

 

CAN I DECORATE THE LETTERS? 

  1. YES, ABSOLUTELY! ATTACHING ANYTHING TO THE LETTERS INCLUDING: BALLOONS, FLORALS, ETC. MUST BE APPROVED AHEAD OF TIME BY ALPHA-LIT LI.

Personal Hobbies

When we aren't out lighting up your events, you can find us enjoying the South Shore Beaches or exploring the North Fork Wineries.  Family and friends are everything to us!  Our down time is enjoying our 2.5 year old daughter, Peyton, our 6 month old son, Bryce, and our crazy four legged best friend, Bayla!

For my husband’s 30th birthday party, I threw a German beer garden themed surprise party. When I saw Alpha-Lit Long Island on Instagram, I knew I had to incorporate it somehow. When finalizing the reservation, one of the workers pointed out that I used the incorrect ending for Gonzalez and corrected it, resulting in an additional letter rental, free of charge.
