I was drawn to the wedding industry because it is built around moments that truly matter. Weddings are one of the few times in life when everyone you love is gathered in one place, fully present, celebrating something meaningful. What I love most is that no two weddings are ever the same. Every couple has a different story, energy, and vision, and I get to help bring that to life in a way that feels personal and intentional. It is incredibly rewarding to know that something we create becomes part of how people remember one of the most important days of their lives.

One of my favorite wedding memories is from my own wedding. Before my wedding, my wife and I created our own personalized fragrances. Taking the time together to blend scents that reflected who we are and what that moment felt like made the experience incredibly personal and intimate. It was not just about having a signature scent, but about creating something together that marked the beginning of our marriage.

Because faith is of utmost importance to my wife and I, one of my most cherished wedding memories was sharing a song together in front of our guests that proclaimed God’s faithfulness. It was an especially meaningful moment because we have been singing together for more than ten years, and bringing that shared passion into such a joyful celebration made the experience deeply personal and unforgettable.

I specialize in custom fragrance creation, with a particular love for deep, woody, and aquatic scent profiles. As a perfumer, I am especially drawn to fragrances that feel clean yet grounded, sophisticated yet effortless. Scents with depth, mineral freshness, woods, and subtle aquatic notes are where I feel most inspired, the kind of fragrances that linger quietly but leave a lasting impression, similar to the feeling of Acqua Di Gio Profumo.

Aromatic Memories was founded by me, Andrew, from a lifelong connection to fragrance and the memories it carries. My love for scent began at a young age, inspired by the unmistakable aromas of my grandmother’s home, her clothes, and her personal scent. Those early experiences showed me how deeply fragrance can be tied to comfort, emotion, and memory, even before I understood it intellectually.

Over the years, that curiosity turned into a true craft. I immersed myself in both designer and niche fragrances, studying how they are built, recreating them, and eventually developing original blends of my own. Alongside the creative side, I became especially interested in the psychological and biological impact of scent, and how fragrance has the unique ability to anchor moments in our memory. That understanding became the foundation of the company and the reason behind the name Aromatic Memories. It reflects the belief that scent is one of the most powerful ways to preserve meaningful moments.

What started as a passion project naturally evolved into a business focused on experience rather than transaction. Today, Aromatic Memories offers custom perfume bar experiences for weddings and special events, allowing couples and their guests to create something personal and lasting together. The company has grown intentionally, with a strong focus on hospitality, detail, and genuine connection. Our team is small and carefully selected, made up of individuals who share the same appreciation for craftsmanship, warmth, and creating memorable experiences for every guest.

Looking ahead, I see Aromatic Memories continuing to grow thoughtfully. We plan to expand into a permanent brick and mortar space while maintaining our mobile services, allowing us to serve couples and clients both on their wedding day and beyond. My vision is to continue elevating the role of fragrance within the wedding industry and to help people create memories they can return to, again and again, through scent.

A perfume bar is an interactive experience where you and your guests create custom fragrances during your event. Guests are guided through selecting and blending scents to create a fragrance that feels personal to them, and they leave with a bottle as a keepsake from your celebration.

Is this something my guests will actually enjoy or understand how to do?
Absolutely. No prior knowledge of fragrance is needed. We guide each guest step by step, making the experience approachable, fun, and engaging for everyone, whether they are fragrance lovers or trying something new for the first time.

How long does the experience take for each guest?
Each guest typically spends a few minutes creating their fragrance. The experience flows smoothly and is designed to complement your event rather than interrupt it, allowing guests to participate at their own pace.

Can the scents be customized to match our wedding vibe or theme?
Yes. We curate our scent selections based on your vision, whether you want something romantic, fresh, bold, elegant, or timeless. The fragrances can reflect the overall mood of your day while still allowing guests to create something uniquely theirs.

Do the perfumes last, or are they more like a novelty item?
These are real perfumes made with high quality oils. They are designed to last and be worn long after the wedding day, bringing guests back to your celebration every time they smell it.

How many guests can participate?
We accommodate a wide range of guest counts, from intimate gatherings to larger celebrations. We will recommend the best setup based on your guest count and timeline to ensure a smooth experience.

Is this meant to replace favors?
Many couples choose to use the perfume as both an experience and a favor, since guests leave with something meaningful, personal, and usable rather than something that gets left behind.

Do you travel for weddings?
Yes. We are based in New York but travel for weddings and events. Travel details are discussed during the planning process so everything is clear and seamless.

When I am not working, I really value slowing down and being present. I love traveling to new countries with my wife, discovering different cultures, and experiencing new foods along the way. Those experiences inspire me creatively and remind me how powerful atmosphere, tradition, and sensory details can be. I also cherish spending time with my immediate family, whether it is a simple gathering or just being together without an agenda.

Fragrance is still very much a hobby for me, not just my profession. I genuinely enjoy exploring new scents, learning how different notes work together, and finding inspiration in unexpected places. I am also drawn to design, music, and anything that tells a story or creates a feeling.

Outside of work, you will find me enthusiactically rooting for the New York Knicks, playing the guitar or piano, or enjoying a good meal and meaningful conversation. What makes me smile most is connection, shared laughter, and moments that feel genuine. Those are the same things I bring into every wedding experience and what couples often connect with most when they meet me in person.
