IntroductionHi! I'm Bernard Alexis! A fun and charismatic photographer from Long Island! I'm a husband and father of two beautiful girls. I first started getting into photography while attending visual art classes at Farmingdale State University. I immediately fell in love with the medium and began experimenting with it on my own. Fast forward a few years later, I'm constantly amazed by how I can approach each couple individually and offering them not just a set of images, but also a piece of time and an experience they're sure to never forget.
The Wedding IndustryWedding photography to me captures a roller coaster of moments, emotions. It's also an adventure for me as I get to travel and visit places I normally would never go to in my free time. The most amazing feeling for me is being welcomed into my couples homes or within their tightest circle friends and family. It's intimate, exciting and humbling at the same time.
The Wedding MemoriesEvery wedding I've had the pleasure to capture offered its own unique spin. Probably one that stands out to me the most was when I had to drive the bride to the ceremony because her brother got lost on his way back to pick her up. I get pretty emotional at weddings, and being the dad to two girls, I almost can't help myself from getting choked up during Father-Daughter dances.
SpecializationWedding photography is my specialty. I have dabbled in cinematography a bit, but I have found that my heart beats for capturing timeless images.
Company HistoryAt first, I was primarily doing wedding photography as a side gig for extra cash. I have since registered the business and looking to grow it and take it as far as I can in the future.
Frequently Asked QuestionsI get this question at almost every wedding: "Has anyone ever told you that you look like Darius Rucker?"... I personally don't see the resemblance, but I also have no relationship to him whatsoever.
Personal HobbiesI love me some outdoor activities when the weather is warm. I own a Jeep Wrangler and take it out on trails and the beaches all the time.
