Hi everyone, my name is Cristina, and I’m the owner of Cristina Ashley Beauty LLC. I’ve been a professional makeup artist for 18 years and truly love creating unique, tailored looks for each of my clients.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked with major beauty corporations including MAC, Shiseido, Crème de la Mer, and Jo Malone London, which has given me a deep understanding of product knowledge and a strong beauty consultant mindset. This experience allows me to thoughtfully curate products and techniques best suited for each client’s individual needs.

My expertise lies in soft, natural glam artistry and customized lash design, ensuring every client feels confident, radiant, and beautifully themselves. I am deeply detail oriented and take great care in crafting the perfect look from start to finish.

I chose the wedding industry because it’s where artistry meets meaning. Makeup has always been a creative outlet for me, but weddings are about so much more than beauty they’re about love, connection, and one of the most emotional days in a person’s life.

What fulfills me most is knowing that my work plays a role in how a bride feels when she sees herself fully ready for the day when nerves soften, confidence settles in, and she realizes she feels like the best version of herself. That moment never gets old. It’s why I show up with intention, patience, and attention to every detail.

The wedding industry also allows me to build genuine relationships. I get to know my brides, their stories, their style, and what makes them feel beautiful. No two weddings and no two brides are ever the same, which keeps the work creative, meaningful, and deeply personal.

At the heart of it all, I’m here because I believe beauty should be empowering. Being part of such a once in a lifetime day is an honor I don’t take lightly, and it’s the reason I’ve chosen to dedicate my career to weddings.

There are so many memories I could sit and reminisce about, but one in particular truly stands out one I will never forget. My childhood friend’s sister was getting married and had recently lost her father. It was an incredibly difficult time for her and her family, and her wedding day carried deep emotion. 

As I was doing her makeup that morning, we began talking about her dad how amazing he was and all the funny, cherished memories we shared growing up. There was laughter, tears, and a beautiful sense of connection in that quiet moment together.

When we finished her makeup, I told her I had something special for her. I gave her a personal card I had written, along with a prayer, letting her know that her father was always with her in spirit and would forever be her guardian angel. We both cried and shared a deeply meaningful momentone filled with love, remembrance, and comfort.

That experience reminded me why I do what I do. Being able to support a bride emotionally, not just artistically, and to be present during such an intimate moment is something I will always hold close to my heart. 

I specialize in both traditional makeup artistry and airbrush makeup artistry, allowing me to tailor each application to best suit my client’s skin type, preferences, and wedding day needs. In addition, I offer custom lash design, facial massage, and curated skin treatments designed to enhance radiance, glow, and brightness on the day of your wedding.

My highest expertise lies in soft and natural glam artistry, creating timeless, effortless looks that enhance natural beauty while photographing beautifully and lasting throughout the celebration. 

After working in the retail and corporate beauty world, I decided to step into business for myself and fully pursue what I love most bridal makeup artistry. With my extensive knowledge and expertise in the beauty industry, I wanted to create a company where brides feel genuinely comfortable, confident, and cared for on their wedding day.

My goal has always been to assure my brides that their makeup will not only last throughout every moment of the celebration, but will also look radiant, fresh, and glowing from start to finish. This vision is what led me to found Cristina Ashley Beauty LLC, a brand named after myself because I truly cherish and take pride in every client I work with. 5. Do you offer a bridal makeup trial? Yes, trials are conducted prior to booking official date. 

6. When should I schedule my makeup trial? 1 year in advance. This way we secure date/time. 

7. How long does a trial session last? 1-2 hours 

8. What should I bring or prepare for my trial? Clean face no makeup, hair pulled back.

9. What brands and products do you use? High end brands such as Patrick Ta, Pat MaGrath, Hour glass, Shiseido, MAC, etc. 

10. Do you use luxury or professional-grade makeup? Yes, only the best for my clients! 

11. Is your makeup kit suitable for sensitive or acne-prone skin? Yes, I also offer clean brands in my kit from Thrive and Rare Beauty. 

12. Do you offer skin prep or facial massage before makeup application? Yes, every client needs this prior to their makeup application. 

13. How can I prep my skin leading up to the wedding day? Facials, derma-planning and any procedures should all be scheduled 1-2 weeks prior to your wedding day.

14. Will my makeup last all day and night? Yes, I use the best products to have the best results. 

15. Is the makeup waterproof and sweat-resistant? Yes, some products in my kit. 

16. How does makeup photograph in natural and professional lighting? Perfectly blended and beautiful. 

17. Do you provide touch-up services or a touch-up kit? Yes touch up services are for an additional cost. Touch up kit is provided to the bride.

18. Do you offer airbrush makeup or traditional makeup? Yes, I offer both makeup artistry. 

19. Which application method is best for my skin and wedding day? We go over this during the trial. 

20. Do you offer custom lashes, and are they included? I offer both custom and strip lashes.

Wedding Day Logistics

21. How much time should I allow for bridal makeup on the wedding day? 1.5 hours 

22. Do you travel to the wedding venue or getting-ready location? Yes, I travel the whole tri-state. 

23. Do you provide makeup for the bridal party, mothers, or guests? Yes, everyone. 

24. How many people can you accommodate in one day? 8 people on my own and above this amount I bring an assistant.

35. How do you help brides feel calm and comfortable on the wedding day? I connect with every bride assuring them all the positivity that they will experience on their special day. 

Aside from being a makeup artist, I’m also a teacher, and teaching was actually my first career. I absolutely love connecting with my students and find so much fulfillment in guiding, inspiring, and supporting them every day. That love for education naturally carries into my work as a makeup artist, where I enjoy educating my clients and helping them feel confident and informed throughout the process.

I’m also a proud mother of two little ones, and spending time with them is my greatest joy. Our days are often filled with park visits, extracurricular activities like karate (which my son absolutely loves), soccer, and baking together at home. My children bring so much happiness and laughter into my life.

My daughter especially loves watching me do my makeup she’ll often tell me she wants makeup too (she’s only two years old, haha!). Who knows, maybe one day she’ll grow up to be an aspiring makeup artist just like her mommy!
