Hello Brides of Long Island! I'm AJ Sonnick, Founder of Everlasting Productions.

How far in advance should I book?

A customer can book as far out as they’d like, or with even ~30 days notice, if we’re available, we’d love to be a part of your special day.

What’s included in your DJ packages?

Our DJ Packages start with a DJ/MC for (4) hours and basic lighting. We can also include additional lights, photobooth, photography and videography services.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes, we require a 20% deposit.

What’s your cancellation or refund policy?

You can cancel with 90 days notice.

Do you take song requests from guests?

Yes, if the host allows us.

Can we provide a do-not-play list?

Of course! We have an online worksheet where you can fill this out. We highly recommend doing this as we want to make sure that your special day is perfect.

Will you act as an MC during the event?

Yes.  We are not loud, on the mic all night. The party Is not about us - it's about you!

How long do you play for?

A typical reception is (4) hours. We also provide services for a Wedding Ceremony or Cocktail Hour.

Do you provide music for the ceremony/cocktail hour/dinner?

Yes

Do you bring your own sound and lighting equipment?

Yes

Do you have backup equipment in case something goes wrong?

Yes. We come prepared!

Are you insured?

Yes. We are fully insured for all venues.

Do you need access to power or WiFi?

We need power, WiFi is optional but we come prepared with our own hotspot.

What types of music do you play?

All. We customize to the host and their guests.

Can we send you a playlist ahead of time?

Yes

Do you specialize in weddings, corporate events, or private parties?

All of the above.

How do you read the crowd and keep the party going?

This is something we take great pride in. We do not have any set playlists or lists that we play or mix from. Everything is done in real time, based upon discussions of the types of music that our host would like to hear. Reading the crowd and ensuring that everyone can have a good time is what matters most.

When will you arrive to set up?

We arrive with a minimum of (1) hour to set up. For a wedding we typically need between 1.5-3 hours depending on the setup you’ve chosen.

Do you take breaks during the event?

No. Only to eat quickly.

What do you wear to events?

At weddings, we wear a dress shirt and suit.

Can you stay later if the party runs long?

Yes!
