Matt Whitman is the owner and founder of Famous Entertainment. After working as a DJ for over two decades, he knows how to keep a crowd's attention with his lively entertainment. Matt is an expert team leader who has also worked as a nightclub event director for 15 years and loves seeing guests enjoy themselves.

Famous Entertainment provides an array of services, including DJ sets, live music, event rentals, and decor. Before your wedding, you can have a consultation with Matt to discuss your music tastes. He will take all your preferences into consideration to curate a personalized music playlist. From pop and rock to country and oldies, there are numerous options to choose from. This business also offers professional MC services to host your event, introduce guests, and coordinate speeches.

The Wedding Memories

Of all the weddings I have DJed, the Tanners' wedding was the one I will never forget. They had booked everything possible for their first dance. There 1st dancing was choreographed well and I had to make a special pre-mix blending two songs the way they wanted. The moment was so powerful and beautiful. There was also a boat that capsized in the bay when this crazy storm came out of nowhere. Plus everybody danced for a 2 and a half hour mix that was hot. 

Specialization

We specialize in making the music the way the couples wants. We spend about 2 hours creating specific custom music folders for every wedding, sometimes as many as 7 folders created. This gives us the perform to wow every wedding couple. We provide great MCs and great DJs along with exceptional DMX lighting.

Matthew Whitman is owner and founder of Famous Entertainment. After 15 years of nightclub directing, it was time to go back to doing what I love weddings. The team is fulled with the greatest DJs and MCs from across Long Island. Our DMX light show is handcrafted with slow-moving theater patterns and exciting nightclub patterns. Our team and our DJ set ups are ready to wow your friends and family.
