I love what I do because it is part of who I am. I have been catering for over 40 years and have been a part of 1,000's of weddings. I have been in the hospitality industry since I was a young girl working along side my mother, Mamma Lombardi. I especially love what I do now because it gives me the opportunity to meet with my couples one on one and get to know their hopes and dreams for one of the most important days of their lives. Catering has always been part of my life and has always come very natural to me. I love to make my clients happy!
I was born in Italy and grew up in a very Italian family. Our family loved to cook and enjoy our meals together. My parents farmed their whole lives and taught me to do the same. Eating Farm to Table was what we did! and still do. It is natural for me to create recipes and continue our family tradition in my kitchen as well as in my business. I use only the freshest ingredients and try to use as much local produce as possible. Our selection of meats and fishes are always conscientiously picked. We do not offer farm raised fish and do not select genetically modified ingredients. All of my salad dressings, sauces and gravies are prepared from scratch (never from a jar). We do not use seed oils in our ingredients. We make fresh baked breads and muffins everyday for our cutomers. I operate two Cafes (Nesconset and Stony Brook) where we serve all of our delicious foods every day.
I offer in person consultations to all my clients. This allows you to see and taste some of my food. It also allows us to get to know one another. It is especially important that you like me if you decide to give me the honor to cater your special day!
