Not at all! Whether you’re a fitness beginner or seasoned athlete, our workouts are designed to be adaptable to all fitness levels. Our coaches are here to guide you and modify exercises to suit your abilities, ensuring that you can work at your own pace while still challenging yourself.
3. How many times a week should I work out?
We recommend 3-4 times a week for optimal results, but you can start at whatever frequency works for you. Consistency is key, and our workouts are designed to be progressive, so you’ll see improvements as you continue!
4. What makes Orangetheory different from other fitness programs?
What sets us apart is our heart-rate-based training system. It’s proven to be the most efficient way to get results, as it ensures that you’re working in the right zones to maximize calorie burn and muscle building. Plus, our workouts are never the same, so you’ll always be challenged and never bored!
5. What is the "Orange Zone" you talk about?
The "Orange Zone" is the target heart-rate zone where you’re working at about 84-91% of your maximum heart rate. This zone is where you burn the most calories and build the most strength. The goal is to get into the Orange Zone during your workout to maximize post-workout calorie burn (called the "afterburn" effect).
6. Do I need to bring my own equipment?
Nope! We provide everything you need for your workout, including weights, resistance bands, and heart-rate monitors. Just bring a water bottle, a towel, and a positive attitude!
7. Can I attend classes if I’m getting ready for a wedding?
Absolutely! In fact, many brides and grooms love using our workouts as part of their wedding prep. Whether you're looking to tone up, get in shape, or just feel amazing, our workouts are perfect for all your pre-wedding fitness goals. Plus, the community aspect will keep you motivated and energized!
8. How do I sign up for a class?
It’s easy! You can sign up online through our app or website. Just pick your location, choose a class time that works for you, and reserve your spot. We recommend signing up ahead of time to ensure you get the class you want!
9. Is Orangetheory a franchise?
Yes! Orangetheory is a global franchise with locations all over the world. Each studio is owned by a local franchisee, but all our workouts follow the same proven system and are led by certified coaches to ensure a consistent experience no matter where you are.
10. What if I can’t make it to class?
We understand life happens! If you need to cancel, just make sure to do so at least 8 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee. We want to make sure there’s room for everyone to get their workout in!
