Hi, I'm Samantha Maloney, a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner, owner of SM Aesthetics, and someone who truly loves helping people feel confident in their own skin.

My journey into aesthetics started with a passion for combining medicine, artistry, and personal connection. While I spent years caring for patients in traditional healthcare, I found my true calling in helping people look and feel their best during some of life's most meaningful moments.

At SM Aesthetics, my goal is simple: to create natural, confidence boosting results while making every client feel comfortable, educated, and cared for. Whether you're preparing for your wedding day, engagement photos, a bridal shower, or simply investing in yourself, I believe aesthetic treatments should enhance your natural beauty, not change who you are.

When I'm not in the treatment room, you'll usually find me spending time with my husband Paul and our French Bulldog, Khloe, traveling, supporting local businesses, or working on one of my newest adventures as the owner of Bella Bridesmaids Long Island. Being involved in both the beauty and bridal industries has given me a unique perspective on helping brides look and feel their absolute best throughout their wedding journey.

Although my background is in medicine and aesthetics, I was naturally drawn to the wedding industry because I love being part of such a meaningful and exciting time in people's lives. There is something incredibly special about helping someone feel confident, beautiful, and truly like themselves as they celebrate one of their biggest milestones.

What I love most about the wedding industry is that it's built on relationships. I have the opportunity to meet brides, bridesmaids, mothers, and friends, and be a small part of memories they'll cherish forever. Whether it's helping a bride prepare for her wedding day through aesthetic treatments or assisting a bridal party in finding the perfect dresses, I enjoy creating experiences that make people feel cared for, confident, and excited for what's ahead.

At the end of the day, weddings are about celebrating love, family, and connection, and I feel incredibly grateful to play even a small role in that journey.

My favorite wedding memory is actually from my own wedding. Looking around the room and seeing all of our favorite people together in one place is a feeling I'll never forget. In the middle of all the planning, details, and stress that can come with a wedding, that moment reminded me what the day is really about.

It's one of the reasons I love being part of the wedding industry today. Every couple has their own story, but they all share that same excitement of bringing together the people they love most. Whether I'm helping a bride prepare her skin for the big day or assisting a bridal party in finding the perfect dresses, I love knowing that I'm contributing to memories that will last a lifetime.

For brides in particular, I love creating customized treatment plans that focus on healthy, glowing skin and subtle enhancements that photograph beautifully. My goal is never to make someone look different on their wedding day. It's to help them feel confident, radiant, and camera ready while still looking completely like themselves.

Believe it or not, SM Aesthetics started in my kitchen. What began as a small side business fueled by a passion for aesthetics and helping people feel confident has grown into a thriving storefront in Bellmore serving clients from all over Long Island.

As a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner, I spent years in traditional medicine before pursuing my passion for aesthetics. Through hard work, word of mouth referrals, and an incredible community of loyal clients, SM Aesthetics continued to grow beyond anything I could have imagined.

Today, I'm proud to have a beautiful space in Bellmore where my team and I help clients look and feel their best. While a lot has changed since those early days in my kitchen, the heart of the business remains the same: creating natural results, building genuine relationships, and helping every client feel confident in their own skin.

When should I start aesthetic treatments before my wedding?
Every bride is different, but I typically recommend starting 6 to 12 months before your wedding day. This allows enough time to create a customized plan, address skin concerns, and achieve natural looking results without feeling rushed.

How close to my wedding can I get Botox or filler?
I generally recommend completing Botox treatments at least 4 weeks before your wedding and filler treatments at least 2 to 3 months prior. This gives us time to ensure everything settles beautifully and make any adjustments if needed.

What treatments are best for achieving glowing skin before my wedding?
Some of my favorite bridal treatments include Hydrafacials, chemical peels, microneedling, Skinvive, and customized skincare plans. The best treatment depends on your skin type, goals, and timeline.

Will aesthetic treatments make me look different in my wedding photos?
Not at SM Aesthetics! My philosophy is natural, refreshed results. The goal is for you to look like yourself on your very best day, not like a different person.

Can you treat bridesmaids, mothers of the bride, and grooms too?
Absolutely! Weddings are a team effort, and we love helping bridesmaids, mothers, grooms, and anyone else who wants to look and feel their best for the big day.

I've never had aesthetic treatments before. Is that okay?
Of course! Many of my bridal clients are first timers. We'll discuss your goals, answer all your questions, and create a plan that feels comfortable for you.

Do you offer bridal packages?
Yes! We offer customized bridal beauty plans based on your timeline, skin concerns, and goals. During your consultation, we'll create a personalized roadmap leading up to your wedding day.

What if my wedding is only a few months away?
Don't worry! While more time gives us more options, there are still many treatments that can help improve your skin and boost your confidence before the big day.

When I'm not working, you'll usually find me spending time with my husband, Paul, and our French Bulldog, Khloe, who definitely thinks she's the center of our universe and honestly, she's probably right. She keeps life entertaining and is never far from my side.

I love traveling and am always planning our next adventure, whether it's a weekend getaway or a trip overseas. I also enjoy discovering new restaurants, supporting local businesses, and connecting with other entrepreneurs in the community.

These days, much of my free time is spent growing both SM Aesthetics and Bella Bridesmaids Long Island, which has been an exciting new chapter. I genuinely love meeting new people, building relationships, and helping clients celebrate some of life's biggest milestones.
