Hello! We are Courtney & Walter Blekicki. We are just your normal everyday couple that both happen to love being behind our cameras. And even luckier that we were able to turn that love into our career. Photography as a whole is about capturing light, trapping those fleeting moments in amber to last for all time and we are those entrusted with that honor. We spend our day capturing every moment, unforgetable or momentary, that ray of sunlight that grazes the edge of your veil, a father's tear filled eyes at first sight of his daughter becoming a bride. The Wedding Memories
Our best wedding memory might be a bit selfish or cliché, but it was the day we met. We met while working a wedding almost 13 years ago. That day we began a friendship that became love than turned into each others worlds. Weddings are something so special to us because it started our love story and in turn we now want to capture and help bring your love stories to life.

Courtney and Walter are amazing!! After my first phone call with Courtney, I knew right away she’d be the best! We had her shoot our engagement pictures and they came out so beautiful. I knew I had made the right decision to hire her as the photographer for my wedding. I am so happy with how amazing my wedding photos came out, and I cannot thank her enough! Walter did such a beautiful job with the videography and captured every important part of our special day. I am so thankful I hired them so that I now have the most beautiful photos and video to remember our big day!
Courtney and Walter perfectly captured the fairytale that was our wedding day. I was so impressed with their ability to work together and with other vendors, the church, and the venue to make sure they captured every moment that was important to us. The photos and video came out beautifully and I recommend them to every couple I know!

Let me just start by saying what a pleasure it was working with Courtney. She personally took my wedding photos and my best friend’s. My photos are amazing. She captured everything I wanted, any request I had she made sure it was captured at the perfect moment. It’s so nice to know I have such beautiful photography to look back on when I think about the best day of my life. Literally felt like I had another family member just taking our photos. Nothing was rushed, everything was so relaxed and perfect and not a single shot was missed. Every candid photo was also amazing. Thank you so much for making my memories so special. I cannot say enough about Courtney who shot our engagement photos. First off, she made us feel so comfortable, had us laughing the entire shoot and was so personable. Then, we got our photos back and we are BLOWN AWAY! We have gotten so many compliments and every shot is perfect! Courtney shot our engagement shoot and let me tell you, what an amazing experience! My fiancé and I were a little nervous and I was definitely feeling self-conscious, but Courtney’s calm demeanor and professionalism put us right at ease. She helped guide us with poses and soon enough we were all laughing and having a great time. She delivered beautiful, edited pictures quickly and answers any questions we had. Would ten times over use her services again!

We hired Solaris Photo & Film after seeing photos and videos from a friend’s wedding. Although our wedding is a year away, we had the chance to meet Courtney during our engagement photoshoot this past summer. Courtney drove all the way to central Jersey and was so amazing and fun to work with. She took our personalities into consideration and was super open to our ideas. Since then, she’s been quick to answer any questions we’ve had or even edit our engagement photos. My fiancé and I can’t stop staring at them and using a bunch for our website and save the dates. We are so excited for our wedding day!
I cannot express how much I LOVED Solaris for our wedding! Needless to say, my photographer was the best AND my photos are jaw dropping. Day-of was chaotic, as any wedding, and I can usually get caught up in the stress but Courtney didn’t even let me think about that and she handled my crazy family with ease! Completely professional but also kept it so light and casual. I felt like I’ve known Courtney (AND AMANDA) forever when in reality that was our first time meeting. And let’s talk about the photos... A-MAZ-ING!! I swear I look at them all the time. Price was beyond fair and way beyond worth it. 10000/10 recommend!
Courtney is the photographer you need at your events! She shot our wedding, and our photos came out AMAZING! She wasn't just our photographer, but she kept the whole day flowing, and was just fun to be around! She was our hype woman all day! Can't wait to work with her again for our next event!
We had the pleasure of having Solaris Photo & Film shoot our simply beautiful backyard wedding. So much of the day was captured, so many special details filmed; so many images to choose. From the sparkle of the rings, to the twinkle of the last dance, it was magical, and every second is a memory we can live over and over again because it was all caught through their camera's eye.
