I'm Tom Greco, Owner of Tomasso Black. I got my start in suiting at a very young age. My grandmother was a dressmaker in Siciliy and when my family came to America from Italy my aunts all worked as seemstresses. A close family friend's father imported suits from Italy and I began working with them. I always fitted friends and family for special occasions and in 2019 decided to launch Tomasso Black to expand this service.

Weddings have always been my favorite event to make people look great for. It's such a happy time in people's lives and I always aim to treat everyone I meet like an extended part of my family. I love getting to know the grooms and then groomsmen and dads throughout the process starting with the initial style pick out to the wonderful photos people send me after their wedding.
The Wedding Memories
A special moment that stands out to me is when a particularly shy groom wanted something really unique for his suit lining that included photos of him and his fiance. He loved the finished product and so did his bride. He sent me a video of himself on the day of his wedding and was so confident talking about the suit I had to ask what brought him out of his shell. He credited this confidence to the suit!
Specialization
While we offer rentals and ready to wear suits matching any grooms needs, I specialize in custom suits. I am able to create a truly unique garment allowing the groom to pick every detail like buttons, lapels and linings. I then create a size profile and have the suit made to his exact sepcifications. A truly unique garment is then made for all tastes and fit preferences.
Company History
I started Tomasso Black after helping freinds and family look great for special occasions. We have an amazing staff that has years of experience in the wedding industry. Our first location is in Bohemia and we have big plans for 2026. By spring we will have expanded the Bohemia location to include a lounge area for private wedding party fittings and we are also opening a new location in Smithtown to give our customers the best possible experience.
FAQs
What should we wear/where do we start? I suggest the groom do something to elevate themselves from the rest of the wedding party. We want the party to look good and the groom to look even better!
What's the difference between a suit and a tuxedo? The main difference is the satin found on the lapels, buttons and accent piping on the tuxedo. This takes the suit to a higher level of formality.
I have out of state groomsmen. How does that work for rentals? Measurments can be done locally and sent to us, no problem! We can then either ship or the guys can come pick up at our store the week fo the event.
Personal Hobbies
I am lucky to say I have an amazing wife who is a partner in everything that I do. We have 3 kids that keep us busy when we're not working - 2 girls 13 and 14 and a boy who's 11. I am a long suffering Met fan and a former soccer player.

I have no words for how amazing this brand is! My husband and his groomsmen needed suits for our bridal party and didn't want to rent, but also didn't want to pay $600+ for a suit either. Tomasso Black has gorgeous, high-quality suits for very affordable prices. We could not be happier with the customer service, quality and style of the suits. Regarding customer service, I have to say, all of our questions were answered fully and right away too! The order was placed and we received it in 5 days so there really was no wait. My husband and his groomsmen were comfortable all day and looked absolutely gorgeous.
