Ultimate Getaway Finder

Introduction

Hi, I'm Bridget, and I'm the person who will make sure your honeymoon actually feels like a honeymoon.

I know you're deep in wedding planning right now. The venue, the flowers, the seating chart, the dress fittings. By the time you get to the honeymoon, most couples either throw something together last minute or spend hours going down a rabbit hole of resort reviews and TripAdvisor threads that lead absolutely nowhere.

That's where I come in.

I'm a luxury travel advisor specializing in romantic travel, and designing honeymoons is genuinely one of my favorite things to do. Not because I love logistics (although honestly, I do), but because I love the moment when a couple stops feeling overwhelmed and starts feeling excited. That shift happens when someone who knows the destinations, knows the properties, and knows the right questions to ask takes the wheel.

I plan honeymoons to Europe, the Caribbean, Mexico, and beyond. Whether you're picturing a slow week on the Amalfi Coast, a beachfront suite in Turks and Caicos, or an adults-only escape in the Mexican Caribbean, I will match you with the right experience for who you actually are as a couple, not just what looked good on Instagram.

Here's what makes me different: I get to know you first. I ask about how you like to travel, what you want to feel on this trip, what you absolutely do not want. Then I build something around that. Every recommendation I make comes with a reason behind it.

You're already planning one of the biggest events of your life. Your honeymoon should be the part you stop stressing about.

I would love to help you design it.

The Wedding Industry

Honestly, it comes down to the people.

I work almost exclusively with couples, and there is something really special about being part of this season of someone's life. By the time a couple reaches out to me, they are usually in the middle of planning one of the biggest events they have ever organized. There is a lot of excitement, but there is also a lot of noise. So many options, so many opinions, so much to figure out.

Getting to be the person who takes the honeymoon completely off their plate, that means something to me.

What I love most is the consultation call. I know that might sound like a strange answer, but that first conversation is where everything starts. I get to hear about the couple as people, not just as clients. What makes them feel relaxed. Whether they want adventure or stillness. If they have dreamed about Italy their whole lives or if they just want to sit on a beach and finally breathe. I ask a lot of questions because I genuinely want to know, and that conversation shapes everything I recommend.

I care about getting it right. Not just right on paper, but right for them specifically.

The honeymoon is the first trip you take as a married couple. It sets a tone. And I take that seriously in the best possible way.

The Wedding Memories

This one is easy.

Last summer I sent eight couples to Italy in the same week. Every single trip was different because every couple was different. That is kind of the whole point of what I do.

Two of those couples happened to be close friends. They traveled at the same time, overlapped in the same country, and still had completely different honeymoons because they wanted completely different things. One itinerary looked nothing like the other, and that was by design.

This past month, both of those couples welcomed baby girls.

I am not going to pretend I did not get emotional about that. These are people I got to know, really know, before they ever stepped on a plane. And now they are starting their families. Knowing that the trip we designed together was one of the last big adventures they took before everything changed, that is not something I take lightly.

This is why communication matters so much to me. I stay in touch with my clients after the trip. I want to know how it went, what surprised them, what they loved. And sometimes, like this past month, I get the kind of update that reminds me exactly why I do this work.

Honeymoon planning is not a transaction to me. These couples let me into a really meaningful chapter of their lives, and I genuinely care about how the story continues.

Specialization

I specialize in two very different kinds of honeymoons, and I love both for completely different reasons.

For Europe, and Italy especially, I design custom itineraries that go beyond the obvious. Yes, you will see the iconic moments. But I also build in the hidden gems, the slower pockets, the places that make you feel like you actually lived there for a week instead of just passing through. The goal is an itinerary with real intention behind it, one that lets you be fully present with each other while soaking in the culture, the history, and the food in a way that actually feels personal.

For the Caribbean and Mexican Caribbean, my specialty is matching couples to the right resort. And that sounds simple until you realize there are hundreds of adults-only all-inclusive options and most of them look identical on a website. I ask the right questions to figure out what you actually want the experience to feel like, and then I find the property that fits. Not the most popular one. Not the one with the best marketing. The one made for you.

Two completely different types of trips. The same level of care and detail behind both.

Company History

Ultimate Getaway Finder started with a name that means exactly what it says, and a little more than that.

Ultimate is not just a word I liked the sound of. It means the best possible version, something curated and crafted specifically for you. Not a template. Not a package someone pulled off a shelf. The ultimate trip for who you are as a couple.

Getaway covers everything I love planning. Honeymoons, anniversary trips, couples escapes, the first real vacation you take after the kids leave the house. Any moment that deserves to be treated like the milestone it actually is.

And Finder? That is my last name. But it also tells you something about how I work. I am not just finding you a trip. I am designing one. There is a real difference between someone who searches for options and someone who builds an experience around you specifically.

I founded this business because I genuinely love what goes into it. The logistics, the details, the research, the puzzle of putting an itinerary together in a way that just flows. It also lets me be creative, and it gives me the chance to build real relationships with people during one of the most exciting chapters of their lives. I also love to travel myself, which means I bring real experience and genuine enthusiasm to every trip I design.

FAQs

Do you charge a planning fee?

Planning fees are based on the complexity of your trip, and here is why that matters. The more moving pieces your honeymoon has, the more time, research, and design work goes into making it feel effortless on your end. That fee covers everything behind the scenes, the logistics, the flow, the details that turn a good trip into the right trip. Your consultation call is always complimentary and I will always be upfront about fees before we move forward so there are never any surprises.

How far in advance do we need to book?

Earlier than most couples expect. The general rule I give everyone is this: if you are heading to Europe in the summer, you want to start at least nine months out because the best properties on the Amalfi Coast, in Tuscany, and in Santorini fill up fast. For the Caribbean or Mexican Caribbean, six to nine months gives you solid options but the best room categories go early. The biggest mistake I see is couples waiting until right before the wedding to think about the honeymoon. By then the top choices are gone and you are working with whatever is left. Start the conversation early, even if the wedding still feels far away. That is exactly what I am here for.

Can you help us if we already have a destination in mind?

Absolutely. Some couples come to me with a specific destination already chosen and just need help designing the experience. Others have no idea where to start. Either way works. My job is to take what you bring me and make it better.

What if something goes wrong while we are traveling?

You will have me in your corner. One of the biggest advantages of working with me as yourtravel advisor is that you are not calling a 1-800 number if something goes sideways. You have a real person who knows your trip and can help you navigate it.

Personal Hobbies

When I am not planning trips for other people, I am usually on a pickleball court, trying a new restaurant, or honestly, planning my own next trip.

I am a serious foodie. A great meal in the right place at the right time is its own kind of travel experience, and that absolutely influences how I design itineraries for my clients.

Every year my husband and I take the family to Europe. Ireland holds a really special place for our family, Italy feels like coming home at this point, and this summer we are headed to Greece for the first time. I also travel to the Caribbean and Mexican Caribbean several times a year, shorter trips of four to six days, specifically to experience resorts firsthand so I know exactly what I am recommending and why.

What makes me smile most is when a couple comes back and says that was exactly what we needed. Not just a good trip. The right trip. I love the logistics, the flow, the back and forth of building something together with a couple until it feels exactly right. Strong communication is something I take seriously from the very first call all the way through the trip. It is always a collaborative process and that is exactly how I like it.

Additional Info

How do I get started?

The first step is simple. Schedule a complimentary consultation call and we will talk through everything. Where you are thinking of going, what you want the trip to feel like, and how I can help you design something you will actually remember. No pressure, no obligation, just a real conversation about your honeymoon.

And if you want to get to know me a little before we talk, come find me on Instagram. That is where I share destination inspiration, honest travel advice, and a behind the scenes look at the trips I am designing. It is a good place to get a feel for how I work and what I am about.
