The Wedding Memories
I love hearing about my couples' journeys and what brought them to the beginning of this next chapter in their lives. Some stories have tugged on my heartstrings, and others have made me laugh until I cry. All of the stories are beautifully unique, and that’s one of the things I love the most about my work. A favorite family memory that stands out is my niece Lisa’s wedding. She designed her bouquet to feature lockets with pictures of loved ones who had passed away and kept a special place in her heart: her mother, Nana, Grandmother, and Grandfather. It was a really meaningful way to honor their memories.

I’ve spent almost all of my career in the customer service industry - whether at a global, national, or retail level, providing the best customer care has always been the cornerstone of my professional life. After 30 years of working to improve the customer experience, I decided to combine my years in the corporate sector with a personal passion: my love of travel. It was then that You and Me by the Sea was born. From Hawaiian honeymoons and family Disney trips to Caribbean cruises or even a weekend in New York City, I’ve always been dedicated to finding new and exciting travel experiences!

Q: How much do your services cost?
For honeymoons, I do not charge a fee. People often have the misconception that it costs extra to use a travel advisor. But by utilizing a travel advisor and asking for their expertise, you are saving needless hours of researching and frustration. Because of the logistics involved, there are fees associated with destination wedding planning, which we discuss during your complementary consultation. I also offer payment plans.
Personal Hobbies
I’ve been a ballroom dancer for over 18 years, and I love learning new choreography and perfecting my technique. Working together with an instructor, and bringing together our creative energies in preparing for a showcase or performance, is such a huge thrill! I’m also currently attending American Sign Language classes, which is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time. And I should mention - I’m a huge animal lover! I adore my rescue pup and kitties.

We worked with Christine from You and Me by the Sea as a travel agent for planning our honeymoon. We scheduled a video call, and she responded quickly and seamlessly. She helped us decide where to go, and she helped us choose activities based on our interests for excursions through the resort and got back to us in less than 24 hours. Any questions we had were answered in less than 10 minutes. She also set up a candle lit dinner for us on the beach with a photo session before to ensure we got some nice pictures. We cannot emphasize enough how great she is as an agent. The ease of using her services has made our wedding travel experience stress-free, and we will only plan vacations with her from now on.

| Christine and her team made mine and my fiancé’s dream of eloping in Greece come to life. Christine is attentive to details and responds quickly. She found us a wonderful wedding planner in Greece with a beautiful venue, and made the planning experience as smooth as possible with us having to do very little research in the process. She handled any roadblocks with timeliness and professionalism. We had a mix up with one of our room bookings, and she was able to upgrade our hotel room for free. We also had some flight changes that were accommodated with no issues. We contacted Christine for our honeymoon to Greece because of her reviews and recommendations in brides of Long Island. Christine worked with our budget and sent us a very detailed itinerary and when we asked for modifications she did what she could to help out! We ended up getting an offer accepted on a house in this process and unfortunately weren’t able to move forward with booking but when we’re ready we will be circling back to you and me by the sea!

I was planning a cruise for 16 people with 5 rooms. We had specific needs that needed to be met, Christine was so helpful. She put up with multiple phone calls in a very short time, multiple room, ship, and date changes. She worked hard to get us the best price we could get with the most perks. After spending countless frustrating hours trying to research places to go for a much needed quick getaway, I gave up and decided to try a travel agent. I belong to a women's business group and went to the list of members and found Christine at You and Me By The Sea Travel. We spoke for about 30 minutes and within 2 days, I booked the exact vacation I had envisioned. Christine listened and got everything right. I have recommended Christine to family and friends-all very satisfied!
Christine has been a pleasure to work with. We knew the type of honeymoon we wanted but she helped us by providing options. Recommend some items, but never pushed us into anything we didn't want. She would happily go do some research and come back. She has many forms of communication and has answered all my concerns, worries, and questions at all hours of the day or the week. Christine was great! I reached out to her in the summer to plan a dream 2-week honeymoon in French Polynesia. Christine was able to coordinate everything with plenty of time in advance, and most of our communication was spent ironing out some of the fine details and dates regarding the trip. Christine had extremely helpful knowledge and location skills so that we were able to book a perfect trip. We ended up going to 4 different French Polynesian islands over the course of 13 nights. Every hotel welcomed us with plenty of honeymoon amenities and prepared us some of their best rooms available due to how early we put in our honeymoon requests.
Even when dealing with potential concerns, Christine was great. We booked about 5 different excursions during which local guides were to pick us up from our resorts at a given time. The very first excursion (Day 3), no one showed. Through the resort and Christine, I was able to easily rebook the excursion for another day, and got refunded due to the inconvenience. The rest of the excursions took place on time.
Thanks to Christine's help in travel planning, my wife and I had the honeymoon of a lifetime. We've been across the world together, from Thailand to Tel Aviv, and had pretty high expectations for our honeymoon. Our expectations were plenty exceeded thanks to the detailed itineraries Christine put together with us.
My fiancé and I first met Christine at a Bridal Expo at the Garden City Hotel. She was so personable and gave us a TON of great info. We ended up having a phone meeting with her where she helped us navigate the Sandals website and narrow down which resort we want to stay at for our honeymoon. She has been amazing ever since, guiding us to which excursions we want, daily activities, and even flights. Christine has been great with communication and has always been transparent.
